During planting
Some photos during the planting process. Some plants went in as mature plants, and some (like where I want an eventual full ground cover) were plugs. Most of the planting happened in April & May of 2024. I planted about half, but Paloma’s Garden did a great job on many of them, particularly the bigger ones.
I got almost all of my plants from Lady Fern’s Native Plants in Norfolk. Nicole is incredibly knowledgable and helpful, and her plants are healthy and lush.
Another good source is Southern Branch Nursery, they have a plant search function on their website where you can pick only rabbit-resistant, which I wish I had known about at the start!
We had another flurry of planting in the fall, in late August and September 2024.
